Bullies

What happen to the police report lodged against them?I have been trying to get comments from Sentul police on this. Been trying for almost three weeks. Calls and smses but not reply. Nada. The bully episode at SMK Raja Abdullah may be over. But how about the investigation based on the police report lodged against the agressors by the bully victim? It would be nice to know if the case closed or the family has retract the police report. Well I want to know. How about you?

Acid splasher when are you going to be arrested?

Its been two months since the first incident of acid attack was reported. The first was in front of a school in Bukit Bandaraya. A bunch of school kids and a teacher were splashed with a corrosive liquid that burned their skin. The teacher had to be admitted as the condition was pretty bad. The news picked up by mainstream papers and tabloids. But after that no one did a follow-up on the matter. It was quite weird and I was pretty sure that it will happen again. And true enough the mean splasher attack again. This time he splashed the acidic liquid on two women in Brickfields leaving them with burns on their face.
Police said its a random target and we shld not instill fear in the public by highlighting the cases. But to me its a matter of public interest. They have to know whats going on. What to do. What not to do. And the update of the cases.
Everyone especially the women are concern and worried with the situation. Who is his target? Does it have racial sentiment? could it be triggered by his hatred against women? What? We need his profile. and finally police came up with his photofit. Now at least we have something that we could compare to. At least something. The public also has to play their role. So dont give a tidak apa attitude like if its not happening to me or my family i do not give a damn well that not right. Everyone is a target because YOU could be his next victim. Who knows. So do your bit Malaysian citizen.

Wong's bullies say sorry kinda

Well well well

The kids finally apologise to Wong and her parents sort of. They were giggling when they say it as if they did nothing.
Maybe apologising is a joke to them as well. They did not see that what they have have done to Wong was bad and to me its just sad.

And police did comment on the hair cutting. For more pls click HERE

SMK Raja Abdullah bully incident: Sorry? What Sorry?

Well this was what the uncle told my colleague when interviewed yesterday.
The girls who bullied Wong have yet to apologise to her contrary to the report published in an english paper yesterday.
The family and relatives were pretty upset and say at the very least the family can do is to apologise for their daughters' action.
The girls have been suspended for two weeks and will have to attend counselling session after the suspension ended.
I still think its not enough but according to Deputy Education Minister Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong, this is a final warning which means the students will be expelled if they repeat their bullying behaviour again.
Soo girls, you have one chance one chance only to make good of your life and be good. There will be no next time.

SMK Raja Abdullah bully clip

I went to interview the bully victim in the video of SMK Raja Abdullah bully case on Sunday after watching the clip on YouTube. Btw the recording has been removed from the portal as according to YouTube, the content has violated their policy of hate speech.
But do not be panicked as the clip is still available in facebook. It is searchable so keep on searching.
The girl I interviewed claimed she could not remember the last time she was bullied by the group of girls in her class because it happened almost everyday.
Her parents knew about it but she told them to not bring the matter up with the school as she afraid the girls would do more things to her.
They did cut her hair. She showed me her uneven hair due to the cutting.
She said the girls even do it when the teacher was in the class.

So basically thats the gist of the article.
You can read it more HERE

If I were the mother, I want the school to suspend the girls that bullied my daughter. They should also get a reminder to stop bullying her and promise to not ever bully her or other school children and if they continue doing so, they would be expelled. That should be the way.
Apologising is not enough.

Male Y and Datuk T connected? related?

Male Y became talk of the town when it was mentioned in DSAI Sodomy2 trial. Today its Datuk T.
But wait, he is not involved in the sodomy case but he is someone who today had allowed local press and foreign press to view a video clip showing an opposition party leader 'having sex with a foreign prostitute'.
According to The Staronline, Datuk T was heavily guarded when met at Carcosa Seri Negara today. Datuk T claimed he had stumbled upon the video after he was asked by the politician to search for his watch in the room where the sexual encounter had taken place.

WAGE INCREASE? YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING

This was discussed during lunch with friends.
We were laughing at the article we read in a local daily in the morning about company expect to give out 30 percent increment in salary/bonuses this year.
No doubt as there are some company been seen doing this, the majority are not.
My friends were laughing. They have not been getting any increment since two years ago. No bonuses either.
Both used to work with big company which gave out two month bonus minimum annually. This year that company had given out more than that and according to an ex-colleague who went to pursue her career at the big company, she got five figures bonus for only been there a year.
As what another friend say," Either you work because you passionate or you work because of the money. Choose which one that makes you happy. Happiness comes first,"
So now, my two friends, are thinking of changing jobs both in their late 20s and mid 30s.
Loyalty is a passe. They were saying why they stuck with the same company for years. Both were being sentimental. They were so attach with the company. They believe that it still can make the impact. I listen lot most of the time. oh well..whatever you do my friends..think about it and do what best. You got to take care of yourself and Im going to choke the person who said money is not important. You got to be kidding man. You need it as much as you need the air unless you live in hutan kalimantan with only leaves to cover your private parts. With all the bills the loans(education, car, housing, personal) I wish I can pluck the leaves and pay the bills with it. ahahah I wish.

WOMAN PLUNGES TO DEATH ON VALENTINE'S DAY: HUSBAND WANTS TO FOLLOW SUIT BUT FAILS

MALAYSIA: The husband of a 37-year-old woman attempted suicide after finding out she had fallen from the 19th floor of a condominium in Bandar Baru Ampang on Valentine’s Day.

The mother-of-three, who was not a resident of the condominium, had plunged to her death about 8.30pm last night in the district of Ampang.

The district police chief ACP Amiruddin Jamaluddin said they had taken the contact number of her family members from her phone and managed to contact her husband. The handphone was left at the corridor where she plunged from.

When the husband arrived with his relatives and friends, he wanted to go to the 19th floor.

“He tried to climb the corridor wall, apparently to commit suicide, but was stopped by his relatives,” Amiruddin told The Malay Mail.

When The Paper That Cares visited the scene, two containers of food and a water bottle were at the spot where she had plunged from.

BRAZIL SOCCER ACE RONALDO RETIRES: "I lost to my body"

It came as a shock to me to read about Ronaldo retirement. It was an emotional announcement. He said he sustained so many injuries that his body has quit on him so many times that he decided to give in.
The 34-year-old’s career arguably reached its zenith with his masterly performances at the 2002 World Cup, but three serious knee injuries cast a pall over his later years in sport.

He was quoted saying:” “The pain made me anticipate the end of my career,” Ronaldo told a press conference, at which he was flanked by his sons Alex and Ronald.

He said that its very hard to leave something that made me him so happy.

“Mentally I wanted to continue but I have to acknowledge that I lost to my body.”

The teary eyed Ronaldo revealed he had for many years been battling hypothyroidism, a deficiency of thyroid hormone which affected his ability to stay on top of his weight.

He said a muscle injury sustained last week had been the trigger for him to call time on his career.

“I thought about it at home and realised that it was time. I had given everything that I had.”

The three-time Fifa World Player of the Year scored 15 World Cup goals, breaking the record previously held by Gerd Müller. He scored eight goals in the 2002 tournament in Japan and South Korea, including both goals in the 2-0 final victory over Germany, and in total scored 62 times for Brazil in 97 appearances.

Egyptian cyber activist kisses soldier who beats him

CAIRO: Google marketing executive Wael Ghonim who emerged as leader of the street protests which brought down President Hosni Mubarak kissed the soldiers who mistreated him after being released.

I love what he said. This one of it:

“And I forgive them, I have to say. I forgive them, because one thing is that they were convinced that I was harming the country,” he said. “I’m sort of like a traitor, I’m destabilizing the country.

“So when he hits me, he doesn’t hit me because… he’s a bad guy. He’s hitting me because he thinks he’s a good guy,” he said.

IRANIAN DRUG TRAFFICKERS CONTINUE DICING WITH THEIR LIVES TO SMUGGLE IN DRUG INTO MALAYSIA

There was a time that African drug mules were the one that Malaysian police been arresting for their attempt to smuggle in drugs into the country.
But its now changed with the number of Iranian arrested in on the rise.
Blame it on the easy availability of supply in their country and the loose drug laws there.
The syndicate also smart as they used the uneducated and poor Iranian to carry the drugs for them.
That is why despite of the increasing number of arrests and also the fact that Malaysia is one of the Asian countries that enforce a death mandatory on drug trafficker, many still dare to come in with the drugs. They were clueless about how heavy the penalty would be if they got caught.

I wish the Iranian ambassador to Malaysia would do his bit to channel or educate the people on the dangerous face for smuggling in drugs into Malaysia.

Egypt riot heightens: protestors threatening to shut off key government building

CAIRO: Protestors are threatening to shut down government key buildings if their demands for President Hosni Mubarak to step down not met.
They were burning with anger following to Mubarak speech last night. Mubarak clinching to his post as the president despite the protest. His speech not enough to ease the riot as the people feel that it did not change the fact that he is still the president despite of delegating his power to the vice president.
Al Jazeera news said, as the protestors demanding Mubarak to step down, he and his family has left Cairo to a resort for safety reason.

MUBARAK IS PLAYING WITH FIRE

I woke up this morning and went straight to watch the world news. I was so happy before going to bed last night thinking that Egypt president Hosni Mubarak would finally relinquish his post which means riot would also end.
But all he did was playing with fire. He said that he has surrendered the power to the vice president.
I dont think so because the VP did not have the authority to dissolve the cabinet, he doesn't have the power to change the constitution. They did not meet the demand by the people and his speech/statement today would only fuel more anger.
Many fear that this would only trigger a serious problem. People are flooding the street disappointed and angry.

Man wants to be married to same woman should they be reincarnated some day

Love knows no boundaries. His wife had been in depression for a very long time. He knew but it didn’t matter. He married her still. He made sure she received the medical treatment needed for her depression.
But it was probably not enough as she took her own life by jumping off 10th floor of an apartment here after she threw off their only daughter down from the fifth floor.
He saddened by it but even with what happened, he loved her still and he hoped they would be a couple again should they be reincarnated some day.
Until that comes to pass, he will stay on their matrimonial home.

He wont know what had triggered her to take her own life but it does not matter. He loved and forgive her.

ALARMING! 19 BABIES DUMPED LAST MONTH

Federal police CID director Datuk Seri Bakri Zinin has voiced his concern over the rising of baby dumping cases reported.
On January alone 19 babies were dumped by their irresponsible and ignorant mother.
Not sure how many live how many not.
But the number is shocking.
But that number only in January.
Since 2005 until Jan 2011, a total of 517 babies dumped. Now that is a lottt.
He admitted that we still fail in coming up with the right mechanism in addressing the issue despite of efforts made to tackle it.
What can we do? I believe that the mothers did not want to harm their child but its taboo to talk about child of wedlock. Its against the religion and its something shameful.
We should come out and tell them that we not here to judge you. Their identity should be kept a secret.

ONLINE ADVERTISING EXPECTS TO INCREASE BY 14PCT

AOL is buying Huffington Post for $315 million(RM957 million). What a hefty sum to spend on a online news website. But I think AOL has agreed to the price because of the newspaper ability to attract and build a community of readers. I believe the steady and high number of visitors that been clicking on the website also contributing to the decision.
The market also speculated that this would also bring a rise for online advertising by 14 percent that is to 51.9 billion this year according to research firm Borrel Associates.

Online advertising is growing. definitely is.

PRAGUE, Feb 8 — Dominik’s tiny, hairy hands disappear in the manly, silky-smooth grasp of his girlfriend as she reaches across the table in a tender gesture affirming their gender-bending love.

Before they started dating two years ago, Dominik Sejda, 45, and Andrea Kajzarova, 32, both underwent sex changes, one of just a handful of similar couples in the Czech Republic.

But a boy named Radim, whom Dominik gave birth to 25 years ago, makes their family even more special — he is now becoming a woman named Viktoria.

“I think there has only been one case of a (transsexual) parent and child on record” worldwide, says Czech sexologist Petr Weiss.

“We don’t know why transsexuality occurs. But we maintain there are certainly inherent dispositions, though we don’t know whether they are genetic,” he told AFP.

JOURNALIST KILLED BY SNIPER IN EGPYT RIOT IDENTIFIED

He was shot on Jan 29 and died six days later at a hospital.

SOURCE: AL JAZEERA

Ahmed Mohammed Mahmoud was like any other journalist, his wife Enas Abdel-Alim, says. When he saw something important happening, he rushed to cover it.

And that’s just what he did on January 29, when he heard a commotion outside his office in central Cairo’s Lazoghly square, just next door to the country’s interior ministry.

Mahmoud watched as riot police fired tear gas canisters at protesters and brutally beat them.

Standing at his office window on Majlis al Shaab [Parliament] Street, Mahmoud quickly took out his mobile phone and started recording, a simple move that ultimately cost him his life.

Abdel-Alim said several eyewitnesses told her a uniformed police captain with Egypt’s notorious Central Security forces yelled at her husband to stop filming.

Before Mahmoud even had a chance to react, she said, a sniper shot him.

AOL ACQUIRES HUFFINGTON POST FOR 350 MILLION

AOL Inc. agreed to buy the Huffington Post for $315 million as the Internet company spun off from Time Warner Inc. increases its investments in online content to help revive growth in advertising revenue.

PARIS HILTON IS NOW A MUSLIM?

I found this while I was googling the net. I dont think its true but what do you think?
Pls share with me. But pls read the news first

JEDDAH - Saudi Arabia - Former American socialite, Paris Hilton has converted to Islam, her spokesman, Ian Brinkham, has revealed to CBS news.

"She has been toying with the idea for quite a while now and when she was imprisoned at Century Regional Detention Facility in 2007, she encountered a few people who had already converted," Mr Brinkham said.

By converting to the Muslim faith, Paris Hilton has decided to shun her old life as a celebrity skank.

Speaking from an Islamic study retreat in Jeddah, she said: "I have now found total peace in my life. Before, I used to be known as an STD-ridden streetwalker , a 'hoe' and a person of loose morals, but now, things have changed. Allah be praised."

Stop accusing!

Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Anifah Aman has requested bloggers to stop accusing government that they have been delaying in rescuing Malaysian student in Egypt.
Pls read more HERE
Yes I know Datuk Seri, its hard to evacuate all. Lots of process, that we know too. But do you need to wait for yellow code before you decided to take them out? My nephew was right smack in the heart of the city where the riot took place. He and his colleagues should be at least moved out from their student quarters to a much safer place. Instead of doing that. They were asked to stay put and lock themselves in. eat whatever that they have to survive.
Indonesia has started to move out their nationals from Egypt since Feb 1. When did we start ours? We started our evacuation process two days later..Datuk Seri..thank God that there were no fatalities reported among Malaysian there.

"I sleep with knife under the pillow"

That was what one of the Malaysian student told Bernama news agency on how she coped with her fear during the riots in Egypt.
My nephew, who was stuck in Egypt, had contacted his mother two days ago and told her that he was fine but the things there were pretty crazy.
He said he and the other Malaysian students have not been out since the riot broke out 10 days ago.
He survived by eating biscuits that he shared with few other Malaysian that were trapped with him. He was only been there four months.
He said the government has moved others who are married with children and women first. Their batch would be last to be moved out. That was scary to think about that.
Then today, Im a bit relieved as I was told he and his batch will be leaving the city and head to Jeddah before taking another transport for Malaysia. I hope they moved him and the others out by today.
I do not know if he would be taking a flight or ship home..but its fine whatever means of transportation as long as he is safe.
I was just a bit frustrated with how the government handle the issue. These students should have been moved out few days ago as their lodging right smack where the riot started.
The situation in Egypt is not going to slow down anytime soon.
Even mom knows it. Ahaha.

KIDNAPPERS NAB WHILE ENJOYING BOOZE WITH RANSOM MONEY

Hello,
It's been a while since the last time I posted anything in here. Too many things happened and another reason was I forgot the email and the password for this blog. funny hah? I found it back while surfing the web and something that I read jolted my memory. Ahaha so here I am typing away again.
I would like to share an article wrote by one of my colleague, Alfian ZM Tahir in The Malay Mail on Wednesday about the kidnappers caught by police while enjoying their alcoholic drink at a restaurant in Malacca.
You can read the article HERE
I would like to say kudos to the Selangor serious crime division for their success in nabbing the culprit.
And to ensure the safety of the victim, a businessman from Kuala Selangor.
Despite being critisiced almost daily in the newspaper, the police force have never fail to serve the public.
We should congratulate and encourage them when they did a good job. It is no joke and never an easy task to maintain the peace and order.
Pls continue doing the good job! however dont expect us to stay quiet when you did not.

Cheers!!
