"I sleep with knife under the pillow"

That was what one of the Malaysian student told Bernama news agency on how she coped with her fear during the riots in Egypt.
My nephew, who was stuck in Egypt, had contacted his mother two days ago and told her that he was fine but the things there were pretty crazy.
He said he and the other Malaysian students have not been out since the riot broke out 10 days ago.
He survived by eating biscuits that he shared with few other Malaysian that were trapped with him. He was only been there four months.
He said the government has moved others who are married with children and women first. Their batch would be last to be moved out. That was scary to think about that.
Then today, Im a bit relieved as I was told he and his batch will be leaving the city and head to Jeddah before taking another transport for Malaysia. I hope they moved him and the others out by today.
I do not know if he would be taking a flight or ship home..but its fine whatever means of transportation as long as he is safe.
I was just a bit frustrated with how the government handle the issue. These students should have been moved out few days ago as their lodging right smack where the riot started.
The situation in Egypt is not going to slow down anytime soon.
Even mom knows it. Ahaha.
